The Chrysler 300 is a large and powerful sedan with a bold look and plenty of power. The 2019 model carries over from 2018 without any changes, so you can still expect to see the same engines, trims, and technology.

Trim Levels (Exterior)

This full-size sedan comes in four trim levels. The base 300 Touring model has 17-inch wheels on the rear-wheel drive model and 19-inch wheels for the all-wheel-drive version. It also has heated side mirrors and keyless entry. The 300S adds 20-inch wheels, performance tires, and 19-inch wheels for the all-wheel-drive model. You'll also get a sport-tuned suspension and LED fog lights in this trim. The 300 Limited is next in line with some interior upgrades, and at the top of the lineup, the 300C adds adaptive xenon headlights and 20-inch wheels. Chrysler offers a panoramic sunroof as an option for all of the models.

Engine (Power)

Under the hood, the base 3.6-liter V-6 engine comes standard with the Touring, the 300S, and the Limited models. It gets 292 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque and works with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 300S offers the option for a 5.7-liter V-8 engine with 363 horsepower and 394 pound-feet of torque, and you'll get this engine standard with the 300C. Chrysler also pairs the eight-speed automatic transmission with the larger V-8.

Performance

The base V-6 engine provides plenty of power for the 300, making the vehicle accelerate quickly and pass on the highway with ease. For those looking for some extra power, the V-8 will get you up to 60 mph in just 5.8 seconds and even offers a low growl to go with it. Chrysler offers all-wheel drive for models equipped with the V-6, which gives you the extra traction you need for driving in wintry weather.

Interior

Inside, the 300 is loaded with high-end materials and convenience features. Even the entry-level trim has a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a power-adjustable driver's seat. Step up to the 300S for leather upholstery, or the Limited for a heated steering wheel. The 300C adds convenience features like heated and cooled cup holders up front and upgraded leather on the seats. There is plenty of storage in the 300 with large door pockets and a trunk with over 16 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats. All the models come with an 8.4-inch touchscreen display, the Uconnect infotainment system that works with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and two USB ports. Additional options depending on the trim include navigation, a high-end Harman Kardon 19-speaker stereo system, and a power sunshade for the rear window.

Safety Features

You'll get a rearview camera no matter what 300 model you choose. Step up above the base and you can add the SafetTec Plus package for advanced safety systems, such as automatic windshield wipers, front and rear parking sensors, and automatic high beams. This package also adds lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, forward-collision warning, and a mitigation system with automatic emergency braking.
