Engine (Power)

The 2021 Dodge Durango is powered by a standard 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine that generates 295 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and the power transfers to the rear wheels. This is different and more futuristic than numerous other SUVs that have front-wheel drive. An optional 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 engine is also available as an upgrade, and it generates 475 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque.

Performance

The V-6 engine jumps to 60 mph from zero in 7.4 seconds, while the V-8 engine does it in 6.2 seconds. Despite being fast, the vehicle is able to run smoothly and provide you with a quiet ride. It contains excellent suspension systems that make it feel like a sporty, comfy vehicle. The vehicle proves its worth as a muscle car by having the ability to haul up to 8,700 pounds.

Interior

Great ergonomics, overall comfort, and material quality are evident all over the Durango's interior. The steering wheel has a thick rim wrapped in leather and a handsome metal-looking trim. Thirty carry-on suitcases can fit inside the Durango's cabin when its rear seats are folded. The crossover also features one of the best infotainment systems in its class, incorporating incorporates Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and providing RCA and HDMI ports.
