Trim Levels (Exterior)

The six trim levels of the 2021 Jeep Compass are the Sport, Latitude, Altitude, 80th Anniversary Edition, Limited, and Trailhawk. On the outside of the Compass Sport model, standard exterior features include automatic headlights, heated side mirrors, daytime running lights, and 16-inch black steel wheels. If you decide to go up to the Latitude trim level, your standard features will include 17-inch silver-painted aluminum wheels, hands-free entry, dusk-sensing headlights, fog lamps, and cornering lights. Higher trim levels also include the option to add a power liftgate and LED taillights.

Engine (Power)

No matter which 2021 Compass model you decide to get, you'll enjoy the efficiency and power of the standard 2.4-liter MultiAir engine that generates up to 180 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque. This engine also includes engine stop/start technology. When you come to a complete stop, this advanced feature automatically shuts off the engine to help you conserve fuel and reduce emissions. When you take your foot off the brake and step on the gas pedal, it seamlessly restarts the engine.

Performance

The Jeep Compass makes it easy to handle every type of road condition. Every model except the Trailhawk comes standard with a six-speed automatic transmission. The Trailhawk model has a nine-speed automatic transmission. The SUV is also available in either front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.

Plus, when it's time to take on difficult terrain, the available Selec-Terrain traction management system dial lets you choose from Snow, Sand, Auto, Mud, or the available Rock mode to give your SUV the ideal settings it needs for smooth handling and control. The Trailhawk model also includes a variety of exclusive performance features, such as hill descent control.

Interior

Comfort and convenience features that come standard inside of the 2021 Jeep Compass Sport include dual-zone automatic climate control, cloth low-back bucket seats, and the Uconnect 4 infotainment system that comes with a 7-inch display. The Compass Latitude includes premium cloth and vinyl bucket seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The 80th Anniversary Edition and above come standard with the Uconnect 4C NAV infotainment system with an 8.4-inch display and navigation. Additionally, the Limited and Trailhawk models include leather-trimmed bucket seats. The Limited trim level also comes with a heated steering wheel.

Safety Features

You'll easily be able to handle unpredictable roads when you drive the Jeep Compass. Every Compass comes standard with a rearview camera, stability control, traction control, and a tire pressure monitoring system. The Driver Assistance package is available on Latitude and higher trim levels and includes adaptive cruise control, blind-spot and rear cross-path detection, the ParkSense rear park assist system, automatic high beams, lane departure warning, advanced brake assist, rain-sensing windshield wipers, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and full-speed forward collision warning.
