2021 RAM ProMaster City

You can choose from two body styles with the ProMaster City: the cargo van or the passenger wagon. Exciting exterior paint options include Bright Red, Blue Night Metallic, Deep Red Metallic, and Bright White. The cargo van is available in two trims, the Tradesman and the Tradesman SLT. The wagon is available in two trims, as well: the base and the SLT.

Both the Tradesman and the base wagon come with standard features such as 16-inch steel wheels, LED taillights, manual exterior mirrors, tinted glass, and a rear cargo door with a window insert panel. The SLT cargo van and SLT wagon add upgrades such as full wheel covers and power-adjustable and heated mirrors. With all trims, you can opt for available fog lamps and an aluminum wheel package.

All Ram ProMaster City models are powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that works with a nine-speed automatic transmission to provide best-in-class 178 horsepower and best-in-class 174 pound-feet of torque. This system sends power to the front wheels.

The ProMaster City delivers good handling and ride quality for a work van. Where it truly excels is with its excellent cargo and payload ratings. The van boasts a best-in-class cargo capacity of 131.7 cubic feet and a maximum payload capacity of 1,900 pounds, which is more than competitors offer. In addition, you can tow up to 2,000 pounds.

The ProMaster City's cabin configuration depends on whether you choose a cargo van or a passenger wagon. The cargo van features seats in the front and a large rear cargo area, while the passenger wagon adds a rear bench, which accommodates three passengers. Behind this rear seat, however, you'll still find ample cargo room for equipment or luggage. The 60/40 split rear doors provide convenient access to the cargo area. You can customize your ProMaster City van by outfitting it with an available upfit package for your business.

All trims come with the Uconnect 3 infotainment system, which includes a 5-inch display, four speakers, and Bluetooth. You can upgrade to gain options such as navigation and SiriusXM satellite radio. The Tradesman and base wagon comes with standard equipment such as air conditioning, remote keyless entry, cloth upholstery, and a vinyl/rubber floor trim. With the Tradesman, you also get cargo tie-down loops. Both SLT trims receive upgrades such as a leather-wrapped steering wheel and premium cloth upholstery.

Standard safety features on the ProMaster City include hill-start assist, a rear backup camera, electronic stability control, trailer sway damping, and all-speed traction control.
