Engine (Power)
The engine is the star of the show with the Charger, no matter which of the six options you choose. The base engine in the Charger is a 292-horsepower 3.6-liter V-6, but the GT version and higher can get 300 horsepower out of that same engine. Meanwhile, the R/T boasts a 5.7-liter V-8 with 370 horsepower. Next is the 6.4-liter V-8 with 485 horsepower. The two last engines are both a 6.2-liter supercharged V-8, but the Hellcat version offers 717 horsepower while the Hellcat Redeye boasts 797 horsepower.
Performance
As the engine options demonstrate, this sedan comes packed with power, but its performance features help you keep it under control, whether you're at the track or just driving around town. The Redeye in particular can reach 60 miles per hour from a dead stop after just 3.5 seconds, and it boasts a top speed of 203 miles per hour. The Hellcat model additionally uses an adaptive suspension with Bilstein shock absorbers to make the ride smooth and controlled even at high speeds.
Interior
Despite its clear focus on power, you'll still find plenty of space inside the Charger. The tech is additionally impressive with a standard 7-inch touchscreen interface for the Uconnect infotainment system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and you have the option to upgrade to an 8.4-inch screen if you like. Leather upholstery and a power-adjustable steering column are available as well, and they even come standard if you opt for one of the Hellcat models.
