Trim Levels (Exterior)
All four of the Wagoneer's trim levels have much to offer and boast unique exterior features. It all begins with the Series I base trim, which sports LED headlamps and taillamps alongside 18-inch satin-carbon aluminum wheels and an anti-spin rear differential.
The Series II Wagoneer upgrades this SUV a step further with rain-sensing wipers and black noise pockets on 20-inch machined aluminum wheels. Opt for the Carbide trim level to get gloss-black 20-inch wheels and special black exterior accents. With the Series III, the Wagoneer is outfitted with automatic high-beam headlights and off-road-oriented aluminum wheels and tires.
Engine (Power)
Under the hood of the Wagoneer, you'll find one of two different engine options. The first is a 5.7-liter V-8 that's actually a mild hybrid offering 392 horsepower and 404 pound-feet of torque. The other option is a 3-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder dubbed the Hurricane, as it offers a massive 420 horsepower and 468 pound-feet of torque. This engine is standard on all trim levels except for the Series I.
Performance
Among the numerous performance features of the Wagoneer, you'll find three different four-wheel-drive systems designed to keep you in control, including one with an electronic locking rear differential. You may also be interested in the Quadra-Lift Air Suspension system, which can alter your ride height on the fly to prioritize either ground clearance or aerodynamics, depending on what the situation calls for.
Interior
Inside the Wagoneer, you'll find room for eight people overall unless you opt for second-row captain's chairs. That will decrease the passenger capacity to seven. The seats are set up in a 2-3-3 configuration, and the third- and second-row seats fold down easily no matter what kind of specific seats you have. In terms of cargo space, the Wagoneer offers a generous maximum capacity of 116.7 cubic feet. With only the third row folded down, the Wagoneer offers 70.8 cubic feet of storage, but if you need all the seats up, you still get 27.4 cubic feet of space behind the third row.
Safety Features
Considering the size of this SUV and the tendency for drivers to use it as a family car, it's only natural that Jeep outfitted it with some of the best safety features on the market. These include automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection and cyclist detection, as well as lane departure warning with lane keeping assist. These features are all standard, as are adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring.
