Jeep Grand Cherokee Alexandria, VA
The 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee offers an attractive blend of superior performance and luxury. Here's a short overview of some of the amazing features that this popular SUV has to offer.

Race-Track Performance

If you're looking for track-inspired performance from your Grand Cherokee, go for the SRT or Trackhawk trim. The SRT is powered by a robust 6.4-liter V-8 engine that kicks out 475 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque, while the Trackhawk comes with the same engine that powers the Dodge Challenger and Charger Hellcat models: a monster V-8 with a jaw-dropping output of 707 horsepower and 645 pound-feet of torque. These trims are also equipped with an impressive number of high-performance features. The standard Launch Control system, for instance, will let you consistently accelerate in a straight line on the tracks, with the standard Quadra-Trac Active On-Demand 4x4 system providing superior driving performance no matter the driving conditions. In addition, both trims come with high-performance Brembo brakes, as well as Performance Pages that allows you to record and access performance stats and check fluid and pressure gauges.

Excellent Off-Road Capability

Those who like to veer off the trodden path should consider the Trailhawk trim, which comes with excellent off-road features. The standard Quadra-Drive II 4x4 system, with a rear electronic limited-slip differential, offers superior traction by sending up to 100% of the engine torque to the rear wheel with the most grip. With the standard Selec-Terrain Management system comes five selectable drive modes that enhance handling and traction on various terrains, including Snow, Mud, and Sand. Other standard features include red tow hooks, high-strength skid plates, hill-descent and -ascent control, and Kevlar-reinforced all-terrain tires.

Luxurious Cabin

It's not all about performance with the Grand Cherokee. This SUV also offers plenty of comfort and luxury. Its cabin is spacious and provides decent legroom for up to five adult passengers. Behind the rear seats is a cargo area of 36.3 cubic feet, which you can extend to 68.3 cubic feet by folding down the 60/40 split-folding rear seats. For those times that you need to haul longer items, you can also fold the front passenger's seat down. The base trim is well equipped with features like dual-zone automatic climate control, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Higher trims add luxuries like a panoramic sunroof, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, leather upholstery, and heated and ventilated front seats.

State-of-the-Art Technology

Jeep's 2020 Grand Cherokee will keep you safe and connected on the road. The standard Uconnect 4 infotainment system, which is one of the best systems out there, offers standard features like a 7-inch display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, Bluetooth, and six speakers. Available upgrades include a Wi-Fi hot spot, SiriusXM, HD Radio, and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. All Grand Cherokee models also come standard with the ProTech I package featuring blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-path detection, a rearview camera, and rear park assist. The top trims boast many advanced systems, such as adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning, and parallel and perpendicular park assist. Apart from superior track and off-road performance, the 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee also offers a comfortable cabin and loads of modern tech and safety features. Features of the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee

For the first time since 2010, the Jeep Grand Cherokee is getting a redesign. It's been in Jeep's SUV lineup since 1993, and it's still very popular with consumers. While we don't have all the details about what to expect from the 2021 model, a few revelations have been made. Here's a look at what we know so far. more Power and Performance Although the exact engine lineup for the 2021 Grand Cherokee is still undetermined, there have been rumors about what to look for under the hood. The popular Pentastar 3.6-liter V-6 engine with eTorque will probably be in the lineup, and a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine with hybridization may also be available. In fact, we wouldn't be surprised to see Jeep offer a diesel engine like the one found in the Wrangler or the Hellcat that comes on the Trackhawk as options for the Grand Cherokee. As with previous models, the 2021 versions will come with either rear-, all-, or four-wheel drive depending on your driving style and preferences. Later in the year, you can expect to see a plug-in hybrid model of this midsize SUV, but even if that doesn't happen, Jeep claims that its entire 2022 lineup will offer hybrid versions. Spacious Interior No one would have called the interior of the previous Grand Cherokee small, but the latest models will have even more space than ever before. This is due in part to the fact that the current length of 114 inches is expected to increase significantly in new models. This will not only create more space for passengers but will also increase the cargo capacity. If you have a large family, you'll be happy to hear that later in the year, Jeep may release the Grand Cherokee with a third row. So you'll have plenty of room for up to seven passengers, all your gear, or whatever you need to make your life's adventures great. Modern Technology Not much has been released about the infotainment system that will come on the 2021 Grand Cherokee. Currently, a 5-inch touch screen is standard on the base model with the option of upgrading to an 8.4-inch touch screen. We probably won't see that smaller 5-inch screen anymore, and hopefully, the Grand Cherokee will have the option of a larger 10-inch screen, similar to the one found in the Ram 1500. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility as well as a built-in Wi-Fi hot spot are other features that we should expect to come standard, at least on the upper trims. As for driver-assist technologies, it's not yet known which ones will be standard as opposed to available. However, we can expect to see some of the more common safety features found these days like a lane keeping system, pedestrian detections, and a blind-spot monitoring system with cross-traffic alert.
