dodgeIf you’re in the market for a new car and you’re looking for something that’s powerful, sporty, and fun, the Challenger SRT Hellcat and the Challenger SRT Demon are both great choices. Both cars combine style and performance with the safety and reliability that Dodge vehicles are known for. Let’s compare their features. Exterior

While both cars have stunning exteriors, the Demon is 3.5 inches wider than the Hellcat. Round headlights, a wide rectangular-shaped hood, and a low, flat roof are some of the highlights of the Hellcat’s exterior design. The Demon’s exterior is enhanced by flares and wide wheels. No matter which model you choose, you’re sure to get noticed when driving the Demon or the Hellcat.

Interior

The interiors of the Demon and the Hellcat are where you’ll find some major differences. The Hellcat can comfortably seat up to five people, while the Demon has no front passenger seat and no rear passenger seats. This lack of seating allows you to customize the Demon for maximum on-road precision and drag racing performance. Passenger seats can be added, which will make the Demon heavier. That should cause no issue if you intend to use the Demon for conventional driving.

Power

When it comes to a powerful ride, both the Hellcat and the Demon deliver. The Hellcat comes equipped with a Supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI SRT V-8 engine capable of putting out 717 horsepower. While the Demon is powered by the same type of engine, it also comes equipped with a 2.7-liter supercharger that allows it to produce 840 horsepower. The Hellcat can go from zero to 60 miles per hour in 3.4 seconds, while the Demon takes 2.3 seconds to get there. When it comes to quarter-mile speed, the Hellcat’s is 10.9 seconds and the Demon’s is 9.65 seconds.

Performance

Whether you take the wheel of the Hellcat or the Demon, you’re guaranteed a ride that’s smooth and swift. While both cars come equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission, the Hellcat is also available with a six-speed manual transmission. Unique air-catcher headlamps feed cold air into the Hellcat’s airbox in order to cool the engine. The Demon is the first-ever factory-production car to come equipped with Transbrake, which allows drivers to increase engine speed up to 2,350 rpm without overpowering the brakes.

Technology

As for technology, the Hellcat comes standard with a 7-inch touch screen and the UConnect system. The system is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing you to access your favorite music, make calls, and send texts hands-free. A premium Harmon Kardon audio system is also available in the Hellcat. The Demon comes equipped with a real-time display showing you horsepower and torque stats. A data-recording feature helps you keep track of any performance changes that may be caused by the weather or new parts.

These are just some of the exciting features of the Challenger SRT Hellcat and the Challenger SRT Demon. Consider taking a test drive to see which one best fits your style and driving needs.
