The 1500 is the smallest Ram truck. It offers features such as built-in cargo bins, a 12-inch touch screen, and a split-folding tailgate. Ram offers the 1500 with V-6 and V-8 engines, and all work with a smooth eight-speed automatic transmission. Both engines also offer the option for a 48-volt hybrid system. This Ram can tow up to 12,750 pounds and carry up to 2,320 pounds in the bed. Inside, just a step up from the base Tradesman model gets you tech features such as an 8.4-inch touch screen and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Big Horn offers a 12-inch touch screen as an option, and some higher trims even make it standard.

The Ram 1500’s upscale cabin features leather upholstery in the Laramie and above, which also have heated and ventilated front seats. The Limited adds a wireless charging pad, premium-leather bucket seats, and it comes standard with the large touch screen.

The Ram 2500

The Ram 2500 is the heavy-duty version of the 1500. It comes with a more powerful V-8 gas engine or Ram’s Cummins turbodiesel six-cylinder that puts out 370 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque. Both of these engines work with Ram’s six-speed automatic transmission. The 2500’s highest towing capacity of 19,680 comes with the diesel engine and rear-wheel drive. The gas engine with this same configuration can tow up to 17,350 pounds.

The 2021 Ram 2500 comes with the same trim options and features as the Ram 1500.

The Ram 3500

The only significant difference between the Ram 2500 and the 3500 is the high-output version of the Cummins turbodiesel engine. Opting for this bumps up the horsepower to 400 and pushes the torque up to 1075 pound-feet. When equipped with this high output engine, the 2021 Ram 3500 can tow up to 37,100 pounds and handle a payload of up to 7,680 pounds.

The Ram 1500 Classic

The Ram 1500 Classic continues to provide pickup drivers with a lower-cost option. It’s also the only Ram offered with a regular cab. The Ram Classic comes with two different engine options. The base is a 3.6-liter V-6 with 305 horsepower with a 5.7-liter V-8 Hemi available that puts out 395 horsepower. Ram gives you three trims to choose from with this pickup, the Tradesman, Express, and the Warlock.

There is a Ram for every driver and any job. Whether you need to tow massive loads, are looking for an upscale ride, or you want a budget-friendly pickup truck for the family, the Ram can get you into what you need at Ourisman CDJR of Alexandria
